Received it well packaged and in good order. The gun has a nice weight to it and the finish is good. A lot of people don't know that you should immediately disassemble the trigger group from the gun when receiving it and fully lube it as well as the guide rails for the pump and the inside of the breach as well as the bolt itself. When I took apart my gun upon receiving it the trigger group was bone dry as expected. Once everything was lubed up I was ready to test it. I brought it to my local field and was testing it out and had a bit of the common issue where as you pump and load another shell into the breach as you slam it closed it sometimes fired. I am not sure if I managed to fix it but by once again re-lubbing everything internally that problem seemed to stop. I was able to shoot it all afternoon without it happening again. No jams either or trouble ejecting the shells. I think this gun is just very thirsty for lube and without it you get problems. I also found that the purple metal shells would fire on their own or be very dangerous to load and use. However, I realized I was not properly loading them. Watch the airsoft-mike video on this shotgun and he demonstrates how to properly load them. You have to press really hard on the push-pin on the back of the shell with the supplied plastic shell-stand thing. If you fill the shell without doing that or without pressing it all the way down it seems like you're leaving the shell half-cocked and vibration from loading it or slaming the breach closed can be enough for it to go-off. Once I started firmly pressing the pin on the back before loading them they performed excellently and the issue stopped (for now and hopefully won't come back). A lot of reviews say the plastic shells are useless and to get more metal ones. I disagree with that for this reason: The metal shells when fired expend all their gas at once. While this definitely gives a way more powerful shot FPS-wise the plastic shells can be re-loaded with BBS and fired again. Yesterday at the range I tested it and was able to reload the shell 6 full times. For the 6th shot I stood 50m away and asked my friend to shoot me in the back to see if it still hurt and it definitely did making the 6th shot still useful for CQB. That means you can be on the field with a small bb-loader and reload your shells in-game without worrying about re-gasing them. That, to me, makes the plastic shells viable and worth having. I also confirmed that if you put 1 bb into the metal shells the FPS is over 400, it's very powerful. All in all I am happy with my purchase. I knew what I was getting into when I bought it knowing it might not be the best for field-gaming and that it has problems but I am prepared to purchase replacement/upgrade parts if I need to...it's way cheaper to buy this one and upgrade it with steel parts than to buy an APS CAM.
