This is an amazing AEG, I highly recommend it! M27's are pretty hard to find, so I was pretty excited to find this for such a good price. I bought this with the full expectation that this was just going to be a generic long-barrelled 416 with M27 stamped on it. I couldn't have been more wrong! Every single HK trade was present - including the antler proof on the left side of the rail, and HK logo on the mock bolt under the dust cover. They also made sure to give it a thicker-profile outer barrel to really make it accurate to the real one. The quality of the physical externals is also excellent - as expected from E&C. The selector level is nice and notchy, and everything feels tight and well put-together. I was also pleasantly surprised by the performance of this AEG. My previous E&C (Model 835) had great externals, but performance was kinda lacking. However, this new E&C M27 has improved greatly on that! It now has a rotary hopup unit out of the box (it is plastic, but works great) and the gearbox seems to be way better-shimmed. This will be competitive on the airsoft field right out of the box. In my opinion, E&C also has the best quickchange spring system in the business. But I do need to mention that there are two small issues that annoy me just enough to not give it 5 stars. First small issue - the pin that holds in the mock bolt release was either missing upon delivery, or fell out shortly after delivery without me noticing. Either way - that's not good. Second issue is that the top and bottom receiver don't match up perfectly - there is a small gap between them where you can see the gearbox and hopup. However neither of these issues really affect the function or performance of the AEG, and I still highly recommend it.
