Good as a prop, might as well be non-functional. I've had two now from here, the first was dead-on-arrival, the second has a dead side light (the one that would normally be the IR strobe).
The black button on the side isn't secured in place by anything except friction and it falls out very easily. For $25 though, you shouldn't be buying this and thinking it'll work like the real Surefire version. Looks good on a helmet, but that's about it.

Disapointed.
The LED did not work and the unit did not fit on the rail of the ballistics V2 helmet.

If this the Element version. I got one a while back from another source. It does not compare to my real Surefire HL-1-A-TN (Tan), but then i's not the same price range either. The light out put is no where as bright as the real Surefire and the so call IR on the Element is just a low/dim red LED while on the surefire it is a true IR LED. As far as buidl qaulity and appearance goes, again it's not a Surefire, but from a distance it would be hard to tell that it's not. I got the Element one just to get the Pic rail mount adapter which the Surefire does not come with. Over all if you only want it for cosmetics reasons then it's a good buy for the price.
